God as the Highest Perfection in al-Farabi’s Theology

This article discusses the idea of God as highest perfection and most perfect knowledge in theological doctrine al-Farabi. Al-Farabi considers his famous work “On Perfect state”. Most this treatise is about proof existence God. describes qualities not only directly, but also through attributes life, knowledge, wisdom, reality, truth. calls First Cause, or simply First. The perfection, according to al-Farabi, manifested laws universe, process ruling city state. So, if a ruler inhabitants are guided by faith God, then their life will be reasonable since reason identical theology Thus, metaphysics al-Farabi closely connected with Reason, which manifests itself detailed theologo-philosophical doctrine.
